Analysis
The Altura CP is Batavus's accessible low step-through bike, with a Bosch Active Line mid-motor (40Nm of torque) and Bosch Smart System (BES3). The removable battery (400 or 500Wh) sits under the rear rack and gives, depending on the assist mode chosen, 60 to 93km of range on the 400Wh version.
Tektro T275 hydraulic disc brakes and a sprung front fork give comfortable, safe braking and riding, and the Shimano Nexus 7 hub shifts without fuss. The Bosch Purion 200 display connects via Bluetooth to the eBike Flow app for navigation and ride data. The low step-through frame (51/56/61cm) makes getting on and off easy, even with a full shopping bag or child seat.
