How we compare

JouwEbikeVergelijker is an independent e-bike comparison site. We don't make or sell bikes: we analyse public information from Amazon and from manufacturers so you can compare models on data, not marketing copy.

Where the data comes from

Every spec sheet starts from the Amazon listing itself (title, price, specifications, images and verified reviews). When a figure is missing or contradictory, we complete it from the manufacturer's official page or specialised sources, and if we still can't find it, we show "—" instead of inventing it.

How we calculate the editorial ratings

The radar chart on every spec sheet (range, power, comfort, sportiness, ease of use and value for money) is an editorial score from 0 to 10, calculated by comparing each bike's specs against the rest of the catalogue. These are not manufacturer figures or Amazon's average rating, they're labelled "editorial rating" on every spec sheet.
