Analysis
Touroll's J2 targets the most common e-bike use case head-on: getting around the city every day. Its 45 Nm of torque and three assist levels (15/20/25 km/h) give plenty of push for pulling away at traffic lights and taking typical city inclines in stride.
The 36V, 15.6Ah battery is removable without having to move the whole bike to charge it, handy if you live in a flat with no outlet near where you store it. The manufacturer states up to 100 km of range in assisted mode.
It comes equipped for daily riding: a rear rack rated up to 15 kg, a front fork with 60mm of travel to soak up bumps, dual disc brakes plus an extra e-brake, and a lighting system certified to the German StVZO standard. Gearing is a 7-speed Shimano setup.
It's one of the more affordable options in this comparison, and with only 6 reviews so far it still has a short track record on Amazon, worth keeping in mind even though the existing ratings are very positive.
