Analysis
The X-MAX is the most powerful model in the Fafrees F20 line: a hub motor with 65Nm of torque, powered by a 48V 30Ah battery with Samsung 21700 cells (1440Wh), giving up to 140 km on a single charge and up to 200 km with pedal assist. The battery is removable and fast-charges at 3A.
A triple suspension system (front, rear and seatpost) provides comfort and control, and the hydraulic dual brake system with 160mm pads shortens stopping distance to roughly one metre. The colour LCD screen has a USB port to charge devices on the go and a cruise-control function.
At €1,999.99 this is one of the most expensive bikes in the comparison, fitting the premium battery and suspension.
