Analysis
The Scrambler SCR-E carries the name of the Italian motorcycle brand Ducati, with a sporty folding aluminium frame and a 250W rear motor powered by a 374Wh battery, good for up to 70 km of range. The 20-inch wide-tyre wheels give grip, even on rough or unpaved terrain.
Hydraulic disc brakes give powerful, controlled braking, and the LCD display with a dusk sensor automatically switches the lights on as it gets dark. The rear light is discreetly integrated into the seat post for a clean look. The aluminium frame and rims keep weight to 25kg, with a maximum user weight of 100kg.
With 11 reviews and a 4.2-out-of-5 average, reception is mostly positive, particularly among buyers using it as a compact camper or travel bike. A few reviews mention inconsistent finish quality on arrival or pedal assist occasionally needing a restart. Important: at the time of capture, Amazon lists an unusually long delivery time of 6 to 7 months, be sure to check this before ordering.

We were looking for new bikes for camping that fit easily in the car boot, yet are sturdy enough for longer rides over rough terrain. Our previous folding bikes were cheap but not built for long distances, this one is much better.

Aesthetically flawless, with good materials and a clear display. The saddle isn't very comfortable for city use, and the pedal assist sometimes throws an error on first startup, then needs to be switched off and on again.
